about the job
Strategic Procurement: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, quotation, purchase order issuance, and invoicing. This involves sourcing new materials, negotiating prices, and handling contract terms to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
Supplier & Inventory Management: Actively coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times, monitor delivery status, and track purchases. You will also create monthly material forecasts to control inventory and stock levels, and evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics like on-time delivery (OTIF) and quality.
Planning & Coordination: Develop purchasing plans aligned with production schedules and customer orders. You will also collaborate with multiple departments, including warehouse, production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure a seamless supply chain.
Compliance & Auditing: Oversee all purchasing documentation, assist with applications for government projects (like tax exemptions and import licenses), and ensure all activities comply with company purchasing procedures and quality standards. This includes performing external supplier audits.
Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and training to Purchasing Assistants, and manage the vendor evaluation process to register new, potential suppliers. You will also work with suppliers on continuous quality improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Procurement Manager and managing a team of 2 subordinates and 4 team members.
Skills and experience required
To be successful in your role, you will come with:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Purchasing / Logistic/ Material Management or equivalent education and/or experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and planning, preferably with F&B or FMCG background.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead team.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using ERP system.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
