Strategic DevSecOps Lead (Individual Contributor)
You will be the primary architect of change, moving beyond execution to design the overarching strategy and transformation roadmap for DevSecOps across the organization. This role is ideal for a former consultant who possesses deep technical "battle scars" but thrives in a strategic, advisory capacity.
Key Responsibilities
... - Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a multi-year DevSecOps transformation strategy that aligns with global standards while catering to local operational needs.
- Transformation Leadership: Guide the shift from legacy mindsets to a "Security-Shift-Left" culture, acting as the subject matter expert for the CEO and senior leadership.
- Technical Excellence: Evaluate existing CI/CD pipelines, security protocols, and infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and implement modern, automated solutions.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Work closely with engineering and security teams to standardize tools and processes without the need for direct line management.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all transformations meet rigorous financial services security standards and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are
- Consulting Pedigree: You likely have experience in a top-tier consulting firm (Big 4 or specialized tech boutique) where you led large-scale digital or DevOps transformations.
- Technical Mastery: You are not just a strategist; you have a deep, hands-on background in DevSecOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab, Snyk, etc.).
- Malaysian: Open for international talent, including Malaysians, who are willing to relocate to the vibrant city of Bangkok.
- Autonomous Operator: You excel as an Individual Contributor, possessing the gravitas to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level without a large team reporting to you.
Requirements
- Proven track record in DevSecOps Strategy & Transformation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical hurdles into business value.
- Must be willing to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
