- Consultative Solution Selling: Act as the product expert for the Southern region. You will visit key accounts (Industrial Bakeries, QSRs, HORECA) to demonstrate product applications and solve their technical pain points.
- Distributor Management: Partner closely with the appointed national distributor's sales team in the South, guiding them to close deals by providing the technical expertise that generic sales reps cannot offer.
- Unlock Key Accounts: Identify and convert high-potential customers by running product demos, R&D trials, and workshops that prove the value of the portfolio.
- Market Intelligence: Be the eyes and ears on the ground in Johor, identifying trends and opportunities in the bakery and food manufacturing sectors.
the experience
- Degree in Food Science, Culinology, or a Culinary Arts diploma is highly preferred. Or, the equivalent in technical sales experience within the Food Service/Ingredients/Dairy industries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales or Business Development (R&D) within the Food Service/Ingredients industry. Experience in the Dairy, Bakery (flour/yeast/fats), or Chocolate categories is a distinct advantage.
- Experience working with or managing national distributors is desirable but not essential. You know how to motivate and equip a partner's sales team to sell for you.
- An adaptable and independent individual who can apply consultative problem-solving appraoches to bring added value to clients.
