As we all fight to keep our people safe and healthy through this pandemic, organisations are finding themselves in unchartered territory on how to best navigate their business effectively through these extraordinary times.

We have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life in our line of work, which puts us in a privileged position to learn the extraordinary ways in which everyone is managing.

It is wonderful to witness and learn how companies and people are coming together to find ways to operate their businesses, and still offer all the requisite support, tools and resources to help everyone cope in this unparalleled situation.

Having already adjusted to a sound rhythm after weeks of working from home, even before the community measures were implemented, we were able to share best practices and collective guides on managing the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace with our clients and candidates. In this process, we’ve also learned how to effectively work from home, manage employees remotely, and take the lead - all while dealing with very real challenges in technology, parenting demands, living alone and many more.

This has become a journey of endurance, and it requires us to partner and support one another to keep going.

As the top global HR services provider, I’m both humbled by and proud of what my colleagues and I have been able to do to support companies on their most important asset - people. Even as countries and cities stood still, some companies are still staffing their organisations as they scale to meet the immediate needs of the population, and to prepare for the very-much anticipated resurgence in consumption in the new social economy.

Never has our work been more meaningful to us. I am grateful to work with a team that is willing to go above and beyond for our clients and candidates, and live and breathe our values - to know, to serve & to trust.

During these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever for us to stay connected - both personally and professionally. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need support around workforce management and planning, as well as to prepare for the recovery phase ahead. We will also be here for you if you like to discuss talent trends, market insights and best practices on employer branding and staff engagement - topics we know have been keeping many leaders up at night during this COVID-19 period.

I thank you for your continued support, partnership and faith in us all these while. We will do our best to partner with you on this journey.

Wishing you, your teams, your families and loved ones best of health.

Stay safe and protected.
