As a pivotal member of our lean, high-octane finance team, you will support the growth of a dynamic F&B business while maintaining gold-standard financial governance. You will be instrumental in defining leading practices and driving improvements through process simplification and standardization. This is a growth-oriented role in an entrepreneurial setting, designed to evolve as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership: Manage day-to-day finance operations, with a heavy focus on the Accounts Receivable lifecycle, including billing accuracy, credit management, and month-end closing.
Revenue Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring all F&B sales channels are reconciled and reported correctly.
Strategic Controls: Partner with leadership to implement financial policies and internal controls that optimise cash collection and minimize bad debt.
Process Innovation: Identify and lead finance projects to improve efficiency, specifically streamlining the Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflow.
Banking & Treasury: Maintain strong banking relationships to secure optimal services and efficient payment gateway integrations.
Team Mentorship: Lead and inspire a team of 7–8, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.
Tech Advancement: Explore and implement technological solutions (ERPs/POS integrations) to automate manual finance tasks.
Job Requirements
Proven Expertise: Seasoned Finance professional with at least 5 years of deep experience in AR and accounting operations. Mastery of the general ledger and month-end processes is essential.
Leadership Track Record: Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams of 7–8 members, with a knack for motivating and developing talent.
Dynamic Mindset: Proactive, mature team player who can communicate effectively with stakeholders and isn't afraid to "roll up their sleeves" to solve problems.
Industry Savvy: Experience in F&B or Retail is highly advantageous (you understand the pace of high-volume transactions).
Problem Solver: Excellent organizational skills with the critical thinking needed to lead projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial regulations, and modern financial software.
