About the Role
We are looking for a driven Assistant Brand Manager to support the brand team in executing marketing plans and brand-building activities. This role involves close coordination with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the smooth rollout of campaigns, promotions, and new product development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and marketing objectives.
Assist in analyzing customer insights, consumer trends, and market data.
Help monitor Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spend and track campaign effectiveness.
Coordinate New Product Development (NPD) projects, liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
Work closely with the Sales team to implement brand promotions and trade activities.
Assist in briefing designers for marketing materials (e.g., brochures, online content, print ads).
Support the management of social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor competitor activities and industry news.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of working experience in brand management, preferably in the FMCG or skincare/personal care industry.
Good analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
A proactive, hands-on, and passionate individual.
