About the Role
We are looking for a Brand Manager with a high level of analytical skill and a strong understanding of trade dynamics. You will be responsible for defining the complete marketing mix, including pricing, packaging, communication, and promotions. This role involves close collaboration with regional research and media teams to manage market research studies and prepare media plans
Key Responsibilities
Manage and plan the 360° marketing mix for the brand in line with the overall brand strategy and company targets.
Prepare the annual marketing budget and grid.
Collaborate with the regional media team to prepare media plans.
Execute P.R. events to support the brand image.
Manage market and consumer research with the regional research team, analyzing outputs to generate insights.
Continuously track and interpret market share, share of voice, and brand health data.
Develop and execute trade marketing plans, grids, and joint business plans in line with marketing strategy and sales priorities.
Set the pricing strategy, determine the channel mix, and define the value chain for the category.
Prepare and execute all channel-based launch and re-launch programs and in-store display activities, including POS materials.
Implement new product development positioning and launches in the market.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing for FMCG products in Malaysia.
Experience in the sanitary or paper/tissue category is an added advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. The ability to read and write Chinese is an added advantage.
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Strong knowledge and understanding of market research data (e.g., Nielsen).
Must possess a high level of analytical skill and trade understanding
