About the Role We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager responsible for leading brand and product strategy, from marketing planning to new product development. This role drives brand growth through customer insights, campaign execution, and effective budget management across multiple channels. It involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver successful product and brand outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement short-term and long-term brand marketing objectives and strategies.
Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels.
Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
Plan and monitor Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spend within budget to achieve yearly goals.
Identify the effectiveness and impact of current A&P initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
Conceptualize and formulate new product development (NPD) and administer all NPD projects, including liaising with internal departments and third-party vendors.
Work closely with the Sales Department on the implementation and management of brand promotions, trade events, and communications campaigns.
Lead and brief internal/external designers to develop creative ideas for marketing and promotional materials.
Liaise with media agencies to design effective advertising plans (traditional media to digital marketing).
Manage and build social media platforms to connect with consumers effectively.
Monitor industry and competitor activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in brand management, preferably in the FMCG or skincare/personal care field.
A high level of analytical and communication skills.
Strong commercial mindset and experience in data-driven brand strategy.
Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong command of business communication languages - English and Bahasa Malaysia.
