key responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an IT roadmap that supports the company’s business objectives and drives operational efficiency.
- Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud migration) to keep the company competitive.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee the design and maintenance of robust, scalable IT architecture and enterprise systems.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and maintain rigorous security protocols, data privacy standards, and disaster recovery plans.
- Financial Management: Manage the IT budget (CAPEX/OPEX), ensuring high ROI on technology investments and vendor partnerships.
- Team Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing IT department, fostering a culture of continuous learning and agility.
required qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, with at least 10 years in a senior executive role (VP or higher).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of enterprise software (SAP), cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Business Acumen: Proven track record of leveraging technology to drive revenue or significantly reduce costs.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and Board members.
preferred skills
- Experience with telco industry
- Success in managing large-scale integrations
- Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or PMP.
