- Under this high-octane commercial role, you will be the brand ambassador for an iconic portfolio of cognac, whisky, and spirits, ensuring dominance across Penang’s diverse market.
the role
- Manage a Dual Portfolio: You will oversee a mix of accounts ranging from high-energy Nightclubs, Bars, and KTVs to structured Hypermarkets and Supermarkets.
- Off-Trade Excellence: Ensure stock availability, planogram compliance, and superior shelf visibility in retail outlets during the day.
- On-Trade Dominance: Build relationships with business owners and influencers in the nightlife scene, securing pouring contracts and driving brand activation in the evenings.
- Territory Ownership: Take freehand of your territory in Penang, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to deliver commercial growth.
the experience
- Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience, experience in the On-Trade (HORECA) and/or Modern-Trade sector is desirable. Candidates from non-FMCG backgrounds with a strong interest towards the alcohol industry and solid commercial acumen are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must be comfortable with business entertainment and occassional late-night working hours, replacement leaves will be provided as necessary.
- This role requires energy, social stamina, and the ability to maintain professionalism in social settings.
