key responsibilities
Facilities Management: Develop and maintain effective facility management programs to meet company objectives and customer requirements.
Project & Cost Management: Initiate and implement projects and improvement programs related to machine downtime, preventative maintenance, and cost reduction.
Team Leadership: Communicate with, motivate, and develop subordinates through regular performance reviews and involvement in target setting. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing employees.
Health & Safety: Be responsible for the overall Health and Safety function of the company, ensuring adequate policies, procedures, and training are in place. Conduct regular audits of the plant and equipment to ensure adherence to safety policies.
Compliance: Ensure the company meets all its legal obligations. This includes applying for and renewing necessary permits from DOSH and maintaining the Fire Certificate. Ensure proper control and disposal of scheduled waste in accordance with DOE regulations.
Maintenance & Security: Maintain and control the security of the building, grounds, and equipment. Ensure housekeeping and maintenance of buildings and grounds are consistent with GMP and company standards.
Budgeting & Procurement: Participate in setting budgets, including wage increases and job evaluation reviews. Source and evaluate capital equipment, ensuring a return on investment within company guidelines.
requirements
Education: Candidates must possess at least a college Degree in an Engineering-related field.
Experience: You should have 3-5 years of experience at a management level in a related field. Knowledge of facilities and maintenance management and practices is preferred. Working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: You must be initiative-driven, creative, resourceful, and able to work independently. The ability to plan, organize, control, and communicate effectively is essential.
