1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and reports.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and insights to the CFO and senior management.
- Oversee the financial performance of all business segments, including manufacturing, distribution, and vending machine rentals.
2. Strategic & Operational Finance
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic business decisions.
- Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations and capital expenditures.
- Handle all taxation matters, including corporate tax planning, compliance, and submissions.
3. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other department heads to support their financial needs and objectives, serving as a key business partner.
4. Inventory & Asset Management
- Oversee inventory management and costing for vending machine manufacturing and spare parts.
- Manage the financial aspects of the vending machine rental portfolio, including revenue recognition, asset tracking, and maintenance cost analysis.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sectors is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with full-set accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS) and corporate tax regulations in Malaysia.
- Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
