Key Responsibilities
Management Reporting & Financial Analysis
Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive monthly and quarterly management reports for senior leadership, highlighting key financial drivers, variances, and performance against budget.
Oversee the preparation of accurate statutory financial statements and lead the annual audit process.
Manage and execute monthly balance sheet reconciliations and inter-company transactions, including payables and receivables, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.
Drive and manage the full cycle of the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
Manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including the calculation, preparation, and timely submission of tax declarations and the annual tax final settlement.
Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors and tax consultants, managing documentation and responses.
Ensure the company's financial practices adhere strictly to local statutory and regulatory requirements.
Import/Export & Trade Compliance
Oversee and manage documentation related to all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with local Customs regulations.
Handle applications and compliance for relevant trade bodies, such as the MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry).
Manage and utilize Free Trade Agreement (FTA) opportunities to optimize customs duties and costs.
Manage the issuance of invoices, credit notes, and the timely collection of payments.
Operational Leadership
Supervise daily financial accounting operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all transactions.
Lead and complete other finance-related projects and tasks as assigned by company leadership.
Job Requirements
Education: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior capacity.
Mandatory experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably automotive parts.
Proven experience in Customs procedures, MITI compliance, or FTA documentation is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems) and MS Office Suite (especially advanced Excel skills).
Strong familiarity with fiscal and tax policies (e.g., SST, Corporate Tax) and accounting standards.
