Key focuses include navigating complex frameworks like the National Automotive Policy and managing high-level submissions to various ministries to ensure seamless business continuity.
About the Requirements
- Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, Law, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in government liaison, public policy, or regulatory affairs, ideally within the automotive, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
- Language Skills: Full proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local automotive regulatory environment and the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
- Network: A well-established network of contacts within relevant government ministries, agencies, and industry associations.
- Soft Skills: Strong capabilities in negotiation, diplomacy, and strategic advocacy, paired with a high level of professionalism and cultural awareness.
About the Team

Beyond external advocacy, the team serves as an internal knowledge hub, conducting awareness sessions and providing briefing papers to ensure senior management remains informed on evolving legislative developments.
