About the Role
As the Head of Marketing, you will lead the full spectrum of marketing across both the F&B outlet business and the growing FMCG segment. This role is both strategic and hands-on—responsible for brand building, campaign execution, digital growth, new product launches, and team leadership. You will shape the brand narrative and customer experience, while driving awareness, traffic, and sales across online and offline touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute 360° marketing strategies across retail (F&B outlets) and packaged products (FMCG) to grow brand presence and market share
Drive brand consistency across dine-in experience, takeaway, retail packaging, social media, and advertising touchpoints
Lead annual marketing planning, campaign calendars, and product launch roadmaps
Oversee content, digital, and performance marketing—including paid ads, social media, CRM, and influencer marketing
Work closely with Operations, R&D, and E-Commerce teams to align on go-to-market strategy and business objectives
Develop and implement trade marketing strategies for retail channels, including merchandising, POSMs, and in-store campaigns
Lead customer engagement initiatives, including loyalty, partnerships, and community building
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign performance to inform future initiatives
Manage agency relationships and internal marketing team, ensuring effective collaboration and results
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to scale with the brand’s growth trajectory
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field
Minimum 8–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong exposure in F&B, retail, or FMCG environments
Proven ability to lead brand building, campaign execution, and new product launches
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide marketing decisions
Hands-on experience in both traditional and digital marketing strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
A passion for homegrown brands and a strong understanding of Malaysian consumers
