HR Manager (JB based)
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resources operations for our construction company, ensuring that all policies and practices are aligned with company needs and industry regulations. This role requires a professional who can manage the unique HR challenges of the construction industry, including high turnover, safety compliance, and the management of a diverse workforce.
The ideal candidate will be an HR expert focused on efficient and compliant HR delivery to support the company's daily functions.
Key Responsibilities:
... HR Operations and Compliance: Maintain and update HR policies in compliance with labor laws and regulations. Oversee daily HR operations, including time and attendance management, benefits administration, and payroll. Ensure proper documentation and conduct regular audits to maintain compliance.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to fill workforce needs, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews. Coordinate and manage onboarding activities for new hires.
Employee Relations and Performance Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee issues, including disciplinary actions and conflict resolution. Guide managers on performance feedback and evaluations. Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns promptly.
Training and Development: Create and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and ensure certifications are up to date.
HR Systems and Data Management: Maintain employee records in HR systems and generate reports for audits and decision-making. Ensure data integrity across all HR systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the construction or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage the full employee lifecycle.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, etc.).
- Mandarin is a must due to business need, as this HR Manager will have to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.
