about the role
They are in the process of establishing a new hub in Malaysia and are looking to hire an HR Manager to join the pioneering team and lead the people function for this new setup. Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following areas:-
- Set Up HR Function: Establish HR policies, processes, and systems from scratch to support the launch and growth of the new BSC.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead end-to-end hiring for all functions and create structured onboarding programs for new employees.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Manage payroll setup, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and implement HR systems (HRIS/HRMS).
- Performance & Culture: Build performance management processes and drive a positive, high-performance work culture.
- Stakeholder & Team Management: Act as a key HR advisor to leadership and collaborate with global/regional HR to ensure alignment.
about the manager/team
Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will initially operate as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead your own HR team as the business grows.
skills & experience required
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will come with at least 10 years of relevant experience. You have good communication, collaboration skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team, and a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise. Is that you?
