About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the company's entire marketing function. This pivotal role involves shaping the overall brand direction, driving growth across the product portfolio, and leading the team to execute impactful marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for setting the marketing vision and strategy to enhance brand equity and achieve key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and annual marketing plans to achieve sales targets, market share, and profitability goals.
Lead the new product development (NPD) pipeline from concept ideation to successful market launch, collaborating with R&D and other cross-functional teams.
Oversee the creation and implementation of effective 360-degree marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.
Analyze market data, consumer trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and generate actionable insights.
Manage and optimize the full A&P budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.
Work in close partnership with the sales and trade marketing teams to ensure brand strategies are aligned with channel plans and commercial objectives.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for the marketing team.
Manage external agency partners (creative, media, digital, P.R.) to ensure flawless execution of campaigns.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of classical marketing experience within the FMCG industry, preferably in the food, snacks, or confectionery categories.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and new product launches.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the Malaysian retail landscape.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Must be innovative, resourceful, and able to work independently.
