This role requires a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be responsible for the full spectrum of mechanical design, from conceptualization to final documentation. Your role will involve generating detailed machine drawings , performing system integration , and ensuring timely delivery of projects. You will also be a key collaborator, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
key responsibilities
Design and Development: Generate conceptual and detailed drawings for machinery.
System Integration and Testing: Perform subsystem hardware integration on the machine and evaluate machine performance through testing.
Project Management and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Follow up on fabricated and standard parts to ensure the project is delivered on time.
Documentation: Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) and drawings are updated with the latest revision. Prepare machine spare parts lists and document machine operation in the machine manual.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project outcomes. Liaise with suppliers for special or urgent requests.
requirements
Education: Possess a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering knowledge and practices.
Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of experience in automation design. Preference will be given to candidates skilled in using SolidWorks for mechanical design and documentation.
Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent writing and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
