We are seeking a strategic and analytical Media Manager to lead the integrated media planning and execution for the company’s personal care portfolio. You will act as the primary custodian of media investments, driving efficiency and effectiveness across both traditional (TV, Radio, Print) and digital channels. This role requires close collaboration with brand teams and external media agencies to ensure campaigns deliver maximum ROI and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies aligned with brand objectives and business goals.
Manage the annual media budget, ensuring optimal allocation across offline and online channels to maximize reach and conversion.
Lead the relationship with media agencies, overseeing planning, buying, and performance reviews to ensure high-quality execution.
Monitor and analyze media performance data to generate actionable insights and optimize ongoing campaigns.
Collaborate with the Brand Marketing and P.R. teams to ensure cohesive communication across all touchpoints.
Drive digital transformation initiatives, including programmatic buying, e-commerce media integration, and performance marketing.
Conduct competitive landscape analysis to stay ahead of market trends and emerging media platforms.
Ensure strict compliance with media audit requirements and cost-efficiency benchmarks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in media planning and management, preferably within the FMCG industry
Strong understanding of the Malaysian media landscape, including both ATL (TV, Radio) and Digital platforms.
Proven track record in managing substantial media budgets and driving ROI.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in media research tools and performance metrics.
