About the Job
This role is ideal for a proactive and technically inclined sales professional looking to grow within the industrial sector. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving business development with OEMs and system integrators, delivering product presentations, providing pre-sales technical consultation, and ensuring successful customer onboarding and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, engineering companies, and system integrators
- Generate and qualify leads, update CRM, and maintain accurate sales pipelines
- Present technical solutions and product demonstrations to potential and existing customers
- Support marketing initiatives and participate in industry events and seminars
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored product solutions
- Conduct customer training and provide post-sales technical support when required
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and ensure project follow-through from prospecting to closure
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields
- At least 2 years of technical sales experience, ideally serving OEMs or system integrators
- Basic knowledge of control instrumentation systems and data communication protocols
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
