about the role
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality, to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support new product introductions.
Key resposibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve yield, cycle time, and overall efficiency.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing robust process flows, conducting trials, and ensuring smooth transition to mass production.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure compliance with ISO/industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain key process documentation, including Work Instructions, SOPs, FMEA, and control plans.
- Lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or DOE methodologies.
- Provide technical training and support to production staff.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvement measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on process-related matters when required.
the requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum [2–5] years of experience in process engineering, preferably in [semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, or relevant industry].
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel).
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, process validation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Familiar with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
