We are currently representing a leading global provider of high-end precision tools and advanced diagnostic solutions in their search for a high-caliber Product Specialist to join their specialized Tools Control System team. Our client is recognized for its commitment to engineering excellence, focusing on the design, development, and optimization of sophisticated asset management systems and automated industrial equipment.
As a key member of the technical team, you will bridge the gap between product innovation and field execution, ensuring that all integrated hardware and software systems from network interfaces to advanced diagnostic tools—operate at peak efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert support for internal and external customers, including equipment operation guidance and diagnosis/troubleshooting for field technicians.
Product Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance to identify issues, make recommendations for product enhancement, and collaborate with internal and external sources to resolve technical problems.
Implementation & Integration: Support and install new product implementations, working closely with engineers and field personnel during development phases to provide recommendations.
Documentation & Training: Partner with the Training and Documentation group to write technical bulletins, installation instructions, and service manuals, while also developing and conducting training programs for field personnel.
Project Coordination: Manage service activities for assigned products and participate in special projects, ensuring continuous improvement on all assigned processes.
Data Management: Develop and maintain information databases by documenting incoming calls and utilizing data to prepare for service calls.
Requirements
Educational Background: A Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of industrial experience, with at least 3 years specifically in field service or technical support.
Network Expertise: 1 to 3 years of prior Network Interface experience is a mandatory requirement.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Microsoft SQL Express, and Windows 7/10 environments.
Familiarity with C++ or Java and web development.
Basic knowledge of system integration into customer servers (e.g., Oracle).
Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.
Soft Skills:
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin, including technical writing skills.
Proven leadership ability, organizational skills, and the capacity to do presentations.
A mature team player who can work independently under pressure and is willing to travel frequently.
