Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules for stamping presses, turret punching, bending, and assembly lines.
Optimize workflow across cutting, fitting, welding, and drilling operations to ensure maximum machine utilization and minimum downtime.
Monitor and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield rates, and labor efficiency.
Technical Process Management:
Supervise technical aspects of metal stamping, including die changes, press safety, and tooling maintenance.
Oversee sheet metal fabrication (turret punching, CNC bending) and ensure precise adherence to engineering drawings.
Direct welding operations (MIG/TIG/Robotic), ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety protocols.
Quality & Compliance:
Uphold and implement quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Identify root causes of process deviations and implement corrective actions (8D, RCA) to reduce scrap and rework.
Enforce strict health and safety (OSHA) regulations and 5S cleanliness standards on the shop floor.
Leadership & Team Management:
Manage a diverse workforce, including supervisors, foremen, welders, fitters, and general operators.
Conduct training sessions to enhance staff competencies in new technologies, lean manufacturing, and safety awareness.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a heavy metal fabrication or automotive manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in metal stamping (presses/tooling) and welded configurations.
Strong background in precision sheet metal and mechanical assembly integration.
