We are currently looking for a Production Manager for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in the Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role
Production Execution and Management:
Direct and supervise daily production activities to ensure all scheduled work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor production output and key performance indicators (KPIs) against set targets.
Manage and allocate production resources, including manpower and equipment, to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process to minimize downtime.
Quality and Process Improvement:
Develop and enforce rigorous quality control standards to ensure products meet stringent specifications and industry standards (e.g., ISO, UL).
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Collaborate closely with the Quality Control (QC/QA) team to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
Conduct performance reviews, manage employee relations, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all production activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Liaise with the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements.
Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Prepare and present production reports and KPI summaries to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and solutions.
the experience
Possess xperience in metal stamping, mechanical assembly, EMS, contract manufacturing, or industrial machinery manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
