about the job
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely renewal and tracking of all relevant certificates and licenses.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and government officials where required.
- Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
- Create Purchase Orders and Material Master.
- Manage shipment arrangements from issuance of Purchase Orders to arrival at
warehouse/site.

You will be directly reporting to the Purchasing Manager and work with a team of dedicated procurement professionals and receive good exposure to a large-scale manufacturing environment.
skills and experience required
- Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or any related field
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing operations will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
