About the Role
This is a strategic Regional Marketing Manager position acting as a sole contributor with a primary focus on the Malaysia market. You will be responsible for driving the brand's presence across the SEA region while ensuring the execution of high-impact marketing initiatives. This role requires a hybrid professional who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on content creation. You will manage specialized external agencies and work closely with regional partners to amplify the brand’s reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Brand Management: Lead the branding and marketing strategy for Malaysia and the wider SEA region, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Agency Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external agencies, specifically overseeing S.E.O. initiatives and website optimization projects.
- Content & Digital Presence: Take a hands-on approach to content creation and email marketing; oversee the brand’s LinkedIn presence and ensure all content aligns with the regional strategy.
- Partnership & Event Marketing: Manage relationships with distribution partners to co-organize and execute events; ensure partner-led events are successful and represent the brand effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a central hub for communication, liaising extensively with both internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Reinvigorate and monitor S.E.O. and digital performance metrics that have previously been paused or underutilized.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of marketing experience, ideally with a background in B2B environments.
- Industry Background: Experience in SaaS or professional services is highly preferred. A mixture of agency and in-house experience is considered a significant advantage.
- Regional Exposure: Proven experience managing or coordinating marketing activities across SEA markets.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional English communication skills are mandatory, as the role involves heavy coordination with diverse regional stakeholders.
- Versatility: Must be a "strategic doer"—someone who can develop a plan but is also willing to execute content and manage the fine details of P.R. and digital output.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with managing S.E.O., website CMS, and digital marketing funnels.
