About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and impactful Regional Talent Development Specialist to drive talent development across nine countries in the APAC, Europe and Middle East region (Malaysia, Oman, China, Switzerland, Japan, India, Singapore, Dubai).
This role focuses on designing and implementing power skills (non-technical) learning programs, facilitating leadership and career development, and identifying high-potentials to support robust succession planning and individual development plans. The successful candidate will significantly elevate and accelerate talent development in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data-driven learning needs analysis and operational capability building aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and enhance flagship leadership development programs.
- Manage vendor partnerships and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Develop and maintain learning and development analytics dashboards.
- Support HR Business Partners in facilitating career conversations and accelerating high-potential talent.
- Oversee individual development plans (IDPs) and apply objective methods for high-potential identification.
- Facilitate talent reviews and succession plans across the region.
- Ensure the deployment of relevant global standards within the region.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 12-15 years of proven talent development experience (experience in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Construction or heavy industries is highly preferred).
- Strong design-thinking capabilities to create value in talent development.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in large organisations with a significant technical workforce.
