key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of sales channels, distributor performance, and trade marketing initiatives. This includes:
1. Sales and Distribution Management
Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential distributor partners in target markets to expand sales and distribution reach.
Own and manage strategic relationships with key accounts across Modern Trade (MT), Local Key Accounts (LKA), General Trade (GT), and OEM channels.
Supervise and support local distributors in Malaysia and regional partners to drive performance and ensure alignment with brand and commercial goals.
Conduct regular business reviews, compliance checks, and sales enablement initiatives for partners.
2. Performance Analysis and Strategy
Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, trade ROI, and channel profitability.
Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, pricing proposals, promotional analyses, and strategic recommendations.
Support the development of comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to deliver sales KPIs.
3. Trade Marketing and Digital Support
Propose and implement effective trade marketing activities to drive business goals.
Maintain and update the Company website to ensure all updates, product, and company information are accurate and timely.
Maintain active communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, performance, and continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required to support business operations and partner relationships.
about you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience sales management and proven track record on achievements of sales.
- Good & relevant sales and/or trade marketing knowledge on FMCG, especially
- In category of beverages will be an advantage.
- Direct experience in managing distributors in GT and/or account management of local Key Accounts.
- Experience in managing online channels will be an added advantage.
