- Lead the full sales life-cycle from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and contract signing. Maintain full control over project rhythm and critical decision points.
- Establish and grow strong relationships with senior stakeholders in Malaysian financial institutions (banks, insurers, asset managers, etc.). Act as a trusted advisor and effectively manage internal consensus across complex organisations.
- Translate market dynamics and client business scenarios into high-impact solution strategies. Continuously stay ahead of fintech trends to provide clients with strategic value and insight.
- Excel in solo pursuit scenarios, with strong individual ownership from lead to close. Thrive in environments with limited support or defined structure.
- Actively identify new business models, ecosystem partnerships, and innovative go-to-market opportunities. Bring disruptive thinking to established processes

about the requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Technology, or Business-related fields.
- Minimum 10 years in B2B enterprise sales, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Proven track record working in leading firms within a specialised industry segment, such as top-tier data providers, banking system vendors, or financial IT integrator.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Deep familiarity with procurement, budgeting, and tendering procedures of Malaysian financial institutions. Able to navigate complex internal hierarchies and decision-making chains.
- Strong understanding of client business models, regulatory frameworks, and operational constraints in the local financial services ecosystem.
- Highly self-driven and goal-oriented, with strong ownership of outcomes.
- Rapid self-learner, able to grasp new product knowledge, client needs, and market changes without hand-holding.
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and resourceful in building new business pipelines.
