About the Job
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing accounts with system integrators and end-users, offering consultative sales solutions tailored to industrial automation needs. You will drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, delivering product presentations, and working closely with engineering teams to propose and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand customer accounts, including system integrators and manufacturers
- Identify and qualify sales leads, maintain accurate CRM records, and track sales pipeline
- Present technical solutions, product capabilities, and application benefits to prospects
- Collaborate with technical support teams during evaluation and implementation phases
- Support marketing initiatives, including campaigns, events, and technical seminars
- Provide customer training, product demonstrations, and post-sales support
- Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates based on customer requirements
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields
- Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in system integration or industrial automation
- Familiarity with control instrumentation systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools and structured sales reporting is a plus
