About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and strategic Senior Brand Manager to lead a dynamic portfolio of Personal Care brands. This role represents a key seniority step and requires proven people leadership experience. You will be responsible for overall brand strategy, driving the innovation pipeline, and commercial success across your assigned portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving both top-line growth and building robust brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of long-term brand strategies and annual marketing plans for the assigned portfolio.
Lead the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline for the portfolio, from concept ideation to successful market launch, collaborating closely with R&D and cross-functional teams.
Develop and execute effective integrated campaigns (360 campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital) to drive brand awareness, trial, and consumer engagement.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Brand/Senior Brand Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Manage the overall A&P budget for the portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and tracking ROI on key investments.
Analyze complex market, consumer, and sales data to extract actionable insights and formulate strategic growth recommendations.
Act as the primary contact with external agencies (creative, media, digital, P.R.) to ensure best-in-class execution of all marketing initiatives.
Collaborate strategically with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to ensure brand plans are aligned with go-to-market execution and channel priorities.
Present regular brand health and performance reviews to senior leadership, providing clear action plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in FMCG brand marketing, with demonstrable experience in managing multiple brands and/or portfolios.
Proven experience in people management (leading a team of Brand Executives/Managers) is essential.
Proven track record in leading successful $360^{\circ}$ campaigns and multiple new product launches.
Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Malaysian retail dynamics and profitability drivers.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and cross-functional management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including managing agency partners.
Resourceful, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for brand building.
