About the Role We are seeking a strategic Senior Brand Manager to lead a key portfolio within the cosmeceutical division. You will be responsible for shaping the long-term brand strategy, driving innovation, and leading commercial performance. This senior role requires a strong leader who can manage key brand initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of long-range brand strategies and annual marketing plans for the portfolio.
Champion the full new product development (NPD) pipeline, from consumer insight and concept generation to launch execution.
Develop strong brand positioning based on consumer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels (ATL, BTL, Digital).
Manage and optimize a significant A&P budget, tracking ROI and ensuring all spending is effective.
Monitor brand performance, generate high-level business reviews, and recommend growth strategies to senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Trade, R&D, Supply Chain) to align on key commercial initiatives.
Lead and manage relationships with external agencies (creative, media, P.R.).
Mentor and guide junior members of the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of progressive brand management experience, preferably in FMCG, skincare, or personal care.
Proven track record in leading successful brand campaigns and new product launches.
Strong commercial mindset with experience in data-driven brand strategy.
Excellent stakeholder, project management, and agency management skills.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
