About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Trade Marketing Manager to lead shopper activations and trade strategies for key assigned portfolios. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of two Managers, driving commercial excellence and ensuring the effective execution of channel plans. You will be responsible for shaping the in-store vision, managing significant budgets, and leading high-level commercial negotiations to drive category growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive shopper activation strategies for the assigned brand categories.
Provide leadership and mentorship to 2 direct reports (Managers), overseeing their respective category portfolios to ensure alignment and growth.
Strategize and oversee the management of A&P budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing ROI on trade investments.
Lead strategic conversations and negotiations with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, as well as external partners to drive commercial value.
Utilize a basic understanding of P&L to monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions that enhance profitability.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Brand Marketing teams to align on channel strategies, product launches, and promotional calendars.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive experience in Trade Marketing or Shopper Marketing within the FMCG industry.
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and developing managers.
Solid strategic experience in managing A&P budgets and trade investments.
Basic understanding of P&L management is highly desirable.
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to lead complex conversations with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
