We are partnering with a fast-growing player in the organic & functional food space to build out their R&D capabilities in Malaysia. This is a pioneer role, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape product development from the ground up, particularly within next-generation functional formats. about the role
You will be part of a newly strengthened R&D function focused on developing functional food products with real nutritional benefits, targeting both local and regional markets. This role offers strong exposure across the full product lifecycle, from formulation to commercialization.
- Develop and formulate functional food / nutraceutical products
- Conduct lab trials, stability testing, and product optimization
- Work closely with active ingredients, functional claims, and dosage formats
- Collaborate with QA, regulatory, and production teams for scale-up
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
about the requirement
- Degree in Food Science / Nutrition / Pharmaceutical Science or related
- Experience in functional foods, supplements, or nutraceuticals
- Hands-on gummy formulation experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of ingredient functionality & stability
- Comfortable working across R&D lab and manufacturing environments
