About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Trade Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution for a key personal care portfolio, with a specific focus on the pharmacy channel. This pivotal role involves developing channel-specific plans to enhance brand visibility, drive shopper engagement, and achieve commercial targets. You will be the expert for the pharmacy channel, working closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure in-store excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and evaluate annual trade marketing plans and promotions tailored for the pharmacy channel.
Lead the development and deployment of effective in-store visibility materials (POSM), planograms, and merchandising strategies.
Collaborate with the sales team to drive flawless execution of trade activities and ensure alignment with channel objectives.
Analyze channel data, shopper insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.
Manage the trade marketing budget for the pharmacy channel, ensuring optimal allocation and tracking ROI.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key pharmacy accounts and retail partners.
Work closely with the brand marketing team to ensure that brand strategies are effectively translated into in-store execution.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, or category management within the FMCG sector.
Essential: Hands-on experience and a strong network within the pharmacy or personal care store channels in Malaysia.
Solid understanding of shopper marketing principles and in-store execution excellence.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially sales and marketing.
