About the role
We are hiring a plug-and-play Transition & Transformation Manager to lead end-to-end client transition programmes—from early-stage RFI / solutioning through to go-live and stabilization. This is a hands-on role for someone who can drive delivery with minimal ramp-up and work confidently with cross-functional teams across Malaysia and offshore stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Own full lifecycle transitions: RFI inputs → transition planning → knowledge transfer → cutover/go-live → stabilization
Partner with sales/solutioning teams to provide Malaysia market inputs (ramp plan, resource model, operational approach) during RFI / deal stages
Act as the key bridge between external clients and internal delivery teams (onshore/offshore), managing scope changes and expectations
Drive governance: project cadence, RAID logs, status reporting, stakeholder updates, escalation management
Ensure service stability during transition (quality, risk controls, readiness checkpoints)
Identify practical improvement opportunities (process simplification, standardization, productivity levers) to support cost control and margin improvement
Coordinate SMEs across functions (Finance Ops, HR Ops, Sales Ops, etc.) depending on project scope
What we’re looking for
Proven experience running external client-facing transitions end-to-end (not only partial phases)
Background from BPO / outsourcing or consulting with strong transition delivery exposure
Comfortable operating independently, navigating ambiguity, and driving outcomes without hand-holding
Strong stakeholder management: confident with senior client conversations and cross-cultural teams
Solid project discipline (planning, timelines, risk management). Certifications (PMP/Lean/Six Sigma) are a plus, not mandatory
Experience with shared services / operations transitions (e.g., F&A, HR Ops, Sales Ops, customer operations) is advantageous
What’s on offer
Hybrid working arrangement
Performance-based incentives (details shared during initial conversation)
Regional exposure and opportunity to work on large client programmes
