As a Business Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the sales funnel through technical expertise and proactive market engagement. You will:
- Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and projects within the energy sector.
- Assist in technical presentations and discussions to help clients understand our automated industrial solutions.
- Work closely with the Senior BD and Engineering teams to prepare technical specifications, quotations, and tender documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical clarifications during the bidding process.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure all leads and project statuses are accurately tracked.
- Assist in organizing and attending trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars to promote the company brand
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to provide feedback to the engineering and product teams.
skills and requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or business development
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as required.
