As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Grow the market presence by identifying and developing new business opportunities, both locally and internationally.
- Build and maintain client relationships with clients, engineers, consultants, and government agencies to understand their needs and secure new projects.
- Generate new business by actively researching market trends, attending industry events, and leveraging digital channels to qualify and pursue high-potential leads.
- Develop winning proposals by collaborating with our engineering team to create compelling technical and commercial bids.
- Manage the sales cycle from proposal submission through negotiation, ensuring all client questions and clarifications are addressed promptly.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using our CRM to track opportunities and provide regular updates on progress to leadership.
- Support key project milestones, including client onboarding, prequalification, and submitting all necessary tender documents.
- Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at exhibitions and technical discussions to increase our visibility and reputation.
skills and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) or a related technical field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a B2B sales or business development role, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle
- Experience in selling technical equipment or engineering solutions
- Ability to work independently to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Willing to travel for business purpose
