About the Job
As an Export Market Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth across overseas markets by securing new international business accounts, expanding distributor networks, and strengthening the brand’s global presence. This is a strategic role that blends frontline sales with market development, requiring strong initiative, negotiation skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and penetrate new export markets to expand business reach
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in alignment with company goals
- Secure new international customers and orders, meeting assigned sales targets
- Build and manage strong relationships with overseas distributors, agents, and customers
- Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and after-sales support
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order delivery
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to management
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 6 years’ proven experience in export sales, preferably in stainless steel or related industries
- Strong track record of developing overseas markets and securing new accounts
- Solid understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation, and Incoterms
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly driven, resilient, and able to thrive in new and competitive markets
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and handle multiple markets
- Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
