the role
1. Drive Growth and Strengthen Brand Equity
Consolidate and implement the annual sales operating plan (AOP).
Monitor sales performance and gross profit across brands, channels, and key customers.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing teams to deliver accurate forecasts and ensure sufficient product availability.
2. Expand Distribution and Develop Channels
Formulate and execute distribution strategies to achieve business objectives.
Track distribution coverage, channel penetration, and business growth to optimize market reach and performance.
3. Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activities
Assess the effectiveness of strategic and tactical sales initiatives to align with market demands.
Partner with Marketing and Pricing teams to manage and enforce pricing policies that enhance competitiveness and profitability.
4. Develop and Strengthen the Sales Force
Work closely with HR to build a best-in-class sales team focused on achieving an optimal balance between sell-in and sell-out activities.
Lead, mentor, and coach team members; provide guidance on problem-solving and performance improvement.
Evaluate and recommend performance appraisals, promotions, recognition, and competency development to maintain a high-performing, motivated, and capable team.
the requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
- Availability for regular business travel.
- Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
- Excellent planning & organizational skills.
