Human Resources Planning and Management: You will manage HR planning, including manpower planning and recruitment and selection. The role also involves overseeing the salary administration process to ensure compliance with government bodies and internal policies. You will be a link between management and employees, handling questions, administering contracts, and resolving work-related problems.
Compensation and Benefits: You will coordinate performance appraisal, salary, and benefits administration. This includes assisting the Head of HR in maintaining and reviewing HR policies, SOPs, and the Employee Handbook in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Employee Relations: You will handle staff grievances and undertake disciplinary procedures when necessary. You will also coordinate employee climate and engagement surveys.
Talent Management: This position assists the Head of HR in identifying successors for pivotal positions and charting out the Succession/Talent Management Plan. You will also administer and coordinate the Performance Management System (PMS) to ensure equity within the organization.
Training & Development: You will conduct Training Needs Analysis to address competency gaps and manage future development requirements. The role involves taking charge of the end-to-end delivery of
Learning & Development (L&D) programs, from provider selection to evaluating training effectiveness. You will also ensure the prompt submission and approval of training grants and claims with HRDC.
External Relations and Compliance: You will establish and maintain close relationships with external agencies such as MOHE, Immigration, LHDN, and KWSP. The role also requires managing and monitoring licenses related to the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Immigration Department, such as Employment Passes and Teaching Permits.
