about the role
They are currently looking for a HR Manager to join the team in Melaka. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Strategic HR Partner: Builds relationships with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and provides advice on all people-related matters.
- Performance & Rewards: Manages annual performance and salary reviews, coaches leaders on performance management, and ensures compensation aligns with performance and market benchmarks.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Manages employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and represents the company in labor-related legal cases, ensuring all HR advice and activities comply with labor laws.
- Talent Management & Development: Drives talent development and succession planning by identifying key talent and future talent needs, while also overseeing training and development programs.
- Operational & Change Management: Ensures operational excellence by managing onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits, and expatriate visas, while also leading change management initiatives and HR projects.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will be working as a sole contributor.
skills & experience required
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will come with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience. You have proven experience in misconduct investigations, grievance handling, and compliance management.
