Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
Recruit and staff positions across all levels, from entry-level technicians to senior management.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and qualified talent pool.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer letters.
Oversee the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and rapid integration into the company culture.
Employee Relations and Performance Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Administer and manage the performance management system, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure all HR practices and policies are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Compensation and Benefits
Administer the compensation and benefits program, including payroll, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Conduct market research to ensure compensation packages remain competitive and equitable.
Manage the annual benefits enrollment process and communicate changes to employees.
HR Strategy and Operations
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR information systems.
Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, workplace culture, and organizational development.
Collaborate with senior management to forecast staffing needs and develop strategic HR plans.
Manage the HR budget and report on key HR metrics to leadership.
Must-Haves for This Candidate
Experience: At least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a management or leadership capacity.
Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of labor laws, and exposure to handling IR cases.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ethics: A high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
