about the jobYou will act as the strategic bridge between corporate legal oversight and senior executive administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Advice: Review, draft, and negotiate daily business contracts to safeguard the company’s commercial interests.
Risk Mitigation & Legal Research (General Litigation): Stay abreast of changing industry laws and regulations to proactively advise management on potential legal exposure.
Policy & Governance Development: Shape internal compliance framework by developing, updating, and recommending corporate policies across various business units.
Executive Administration: Provide high-level, confidential assistance to the leadership team, managing sensitive documentation, schedules, calls, and travel arrangements.
Internal Audits & Training: Spearhead internal compliance audits and conduct regular corporate governance and legal awareness training for staff.
Job Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
Professional Credentials: Called to the Malaysian Bar (Advocate & Solicitor)
Experience: Proven track record in corporate legal, compliance, or risk management functions (General End-to-end Litigation experience).
Language Skills: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin (good to have, not necessary)
Core Competencies: Superior analytical power, impeccable attention to detail for flagging risky business practices, strong organisational skills, and strict adherence to absolute data confidentiality.
