the role
- Strategically manage and expand business within a designated portfolio of major pharmacy chains (such as Guardian, Watsons), taking full ownership to execute sales plans, drive promotional activities, and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and buyers, preparing powerful selling stories and customized business proposals to enhance brand presence and secure new listings.
- Ensure in-store excellence by maximizing merchandising opportunities, securing prominent secondary displays, and ensuring strict adherence to planograms to drive visibility and consumer off-take.
- Analyze performance, manage collections, and provide crucial market intelligence on competitor activity in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
the experience
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of fmcg key account management experience.
- Experience covering chain pharmacies is desirable. Open to those from a medical sales background who covered chain pharmacies and also from other Modern Trade.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented individual.
