As the Key Account Manager, you will be fully responsible and accountable for delivering set sales targets and ensuring operational excellence across your assigned accounts.
- Responsible and accountable for delivering set target with proper planning, and ensuring all operational matters such as order facilitation, on-shelf availability, inventory management, in-store merchandising, and sales target of all designated key accounts are carried out. To develop business and sales plan, through comprehensive account and market knowledge.
- Ensure execution and implementation of Key Accounts planned promotion activities.
- Proactively manage Danone’s listings, to maximise distribution and visibility.
- To ensure Danone’s competitiveness and profitability while respecting internal guidelines, processes and timelines.
- To obtain maximum visibility and sales through devising, implementing and participating in activities that will provide the highest ROI while achieving brand /format exposure and objectives.
- Proficient in all aspects of the business, supporting peers and seeking better ways of accomplishing tasks.
- Timely and accurate updates/ submissions of all pertinent internal and external requests using company processes and tools.
- To participate in industry events and customers events.
- Ensure a cordial and profitable working relationship with key account on mutually agreed terms.
- To liaise with and build a strong relationship with assigned key account(s).
- To conduct regular business reviews with assigned key account(s).
- To keep abreast with the current issues in key account & the industry.
- Where relevant, need to engage Distributor sales team to ensure flawless execution.
- To liaise with and draw cooperation from other departments/ sections on matters related to coordination and implementation of sales and marketing activities (internal communication).
- Liaise with all departments regarding key account planning & operations (internal communication).
- To plan, implement and monitor the customised events at selected key account (event execution) & copy from internal communication.
- Where applicable, to execute customised promotions in designated key account.
- To be working with cross-functional colleagues to ensure excellence in-store execution.
- To compile and submit reports on key account activities in accordance to established formats and schedule.
about you
The ideal candidate brings strategic contribution, determination, and a passion for excellence.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in higher in Business Administration or any related filed.
- Preferably at least 4 to 5 years within commercial functions e.g. Sales, Trade Marketing with experience in key account management experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Nielsen, Kantar and DunnHumby would be an advantage.
