This company is a fast growing startup focused in Education operating in different countries. They are building a full time team in Malaysia, to support their operations globally.

The person in this role will be responsible for:

Organizing and handling administrative tasks for boarding school fairs in different cities, including campus drives, hotel research, and contract signing.
Coordinating and organizing events on behalf of the company, including liaising with venues and vendors.
Handling HR administration, such as tracking employee leave using spreadsheets.
Managing virtual business offices in various regions, including dealing with physical leases.
Maintaining a website and other administrative tasks.
Creating company SOPs and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

A demonstrated track record of working in a remote setting is ideal. (experience in Education is a bonus point but not a must have.)
The candidate must be self-sufficient and able to work without extensive onboarding or supervision.
Be able to be on standby during off hours, work closely with management team and other colleagues from other countries.
This person should be detail- oriented, tech- savvy, strong proficiency in Excel, AI tools (Chatgpt or Gemini) is a must, particularly for building data-centric spreadsheets to track information and automate processes.
The ideal candidate is self-starter, organised, reliable, independent, and motivated.
Strong communication in English and Mandarin is a must have, this role will need to liaise with operation team based in China frequently.

Working Arrangement

Remote: The entire company operates remotely.
Team Distribution: Team members are based in various locations including Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Johannesburg, England, and the US.
Timezone Flexibility: The candidate must be willing to occasional work off standard working hours to accommodate team members in different time zones, including China, Thailand, England, and the US.
