About the Role The Regional Senior Manager, Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth within specific geographic regions. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on execution to ensure marketing efforts align with the company's overall goals while adapting to local market dynamics. You will oversee regional teams and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the customer journey from acquisition to repeat purchase.
Key Responsibilities
Strategize, develop, and execute regional marketing strategies to optimize the customer journey, driving acquisition, retention, and app engagement.
Oversee business performance for regional markets (new, young, and mature), focusing on revenue and user growth through channel and product portfolio expansion.
Conduct market research and trade walks to formulate market entry strategies and identify gaps in demographics, trends, and consumer behavior.
Manage multiple marketing divisions, including campaign, partnership, growth, loyalty, and retail marketing.
Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, utilizing A/B testing and data-driven insights to optimize performance across all channels.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy) and external agencies to ensure smooth launches of new markets and projects.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, making recommendations for continuous improvement to achieve fiscal goals.
Hire, coach, and onboard regional teams to ensure brand standards and operational excellence are maintained across borders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in growth, business development, or marketing, ideally within high-growth startups, digital platforms, e-commerce, or mobile-first companies.
Proven track record of delivering growth in a regional or multi-market context, with a strong understanding of regional consumer behavior and cultural nuances.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in growth tools and metrics (e.g., CRM, SQL, Analytics tools).
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for action, results-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Cultural fluency within the region is highly advantageous.
