about the job
- Define and execute the "Go-to-Market" strategy for Malaysia, identifying high-growth sectors (FSI, Enterprise, GLCs) for their specialised portfolio.
- Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of high-performing sales personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, technical curiosity, and "consultative selling."
- Strengthen and expand their local partner ecosystem, ensuring our SIs and Resellers are enabled, motivated, and aligned with our growth targets.
- Act as the executive sponsor for major accounts, assisting the team in navigating complex procurement cycles and high-value negotiations.
- Work closely with the Regional HQ to align local activities with broader ASEAN expansion goals.
about the manager/team
Great working culture. You will be reporting directly to the Country Manager of Malaysia.
about the requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in cybersecurity sales, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership capacity. You have a proven history of exceeding high annual targets in the Malaysian market.
- Preferably someone from the cybersecurity distributor or SI environment.
- Strong familiarity with the Cybersecurity landscape in Malaysia.
- A robust, active network of decision-makers within FSI and enterprise level companies in Malaysia.
- You thrive in an agile, entrepreneurial environment. You are comfortable with a "flat" hierarchy where your impact is immediate and visible.
- Professional fluency in English is required. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is highly preferred to navigate local business environments effectively.
